"To create the paintings I make an acrylic sculpting product with acrylic resin and marble dust which is applied with a palette knife to the image to create a three dimensional relief, then acrylic washes are applied in a very loose watercolor style. The images are acrylic on canvas 36' X 48' to 48' X 72' and have tremendous impact with the dark brown background. Everyone comments on the sense of movement, and little explanation is needed about the feeling of freedom. Customers are drawn to touch the canvas to examine the sculpted image. I truly hope everyone will find the courage to Break Free."
