Dorothy Kordash

Dorothy paints in a contemporary style using a variety of media in her monotype paintings including watercolor, acrylics, oil pastels as well as collage. The monotype paintings are created by painting with oil based lithographic inks on plexiglass. Then transferred t o wet paper with an etching press. She is currently including collage in her exhibits.

"I like to challenge myself by exploring and experimenting with new media, techniques, and ideas. This keeps me constantly working, risking and growing."

Primarily self-taught, Dorothy has studied with well known regional and national instructors in the United States, Canada and England. Her works are held in many private and corporate collections.
