Nancy Crawford

I grew up in Southern California. I have been captivated by drawing and painting

from my earliest memories.

I love the lushness and viscosity of paint.

It affords me more range of expression than words.

I explore each subject matter with a series of paintings, entering into

a journey of exploration of light and color.

I start with a sense of place, using color and diffusion to create a mood.

More saturated color and line are used as a counterpoint.

I am never sure where the journey will take me. I try to leave room for the

viewer to enter this world and share my excursion.

I attended San Jose State University, Chiounard, and the Art Center College of Design.

I exhibit in Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Barbara,

San Francisco, Chicago, and Atlanta.
