Nixon Galloway's Bio

Nixon Galloway is an experienced professional who is well known for the broad scope of work he has produced for corporations and more recently, the prints and the paintings he has created for galleries and individual commissions. He has an extensive background in aviation and over 50 years experience as an artist.

For many of those years he worked as a freelance illustrator with clients such as Boeing, Hughes, NASA, Northrop and various airlines. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, his paintings are held in many private collections and have been exhibited at the Air Force Museum, Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, Kennedy Space Center, the RAF Museum in London and the White House. He has been president of the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles and is an Artist Fellow and past president of the American Society of Aviation Artists.

When not working in his studio, he can often be found on the ski slopes or racing his sailboat in Southern California waters.
